Holden Museum - Summer News
The Holden Museum is open for the season on Wed, Fri, Sat, & Sun from Noon - 4:00 pm (and by appointment at other times.)
In JULY: During your visit you can pick up the Edmonton & North Alberta Historic "Doors Open" guide. The festival runs from 9 - 18 July, 2010 and there are may free events to enjoy. Visit Holden Museum anytime during the festival and you could win a 2010 Festival cap.
In AUGUST: When you are hot and tired, drop into Holden Museum during "BOUNTY OF THE COUNTY" Saturday and Sunday, August 14 and 15. Holden Museum will be open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm during "BOUNTY OF THE COUNTY" weekend. Visit the Museum and enjoy the miniature 1909-1911 Village during this weekend and pick up a walking tour guide and stroll around Holden. Visit the Museum Sample old-fashioned lemonade or ice tea after your visit. Visit during this weekend and you could win a replica of the 1950's CGIT cookbook. Pick up a free vintage recipe card. 'IT'S ALWAYS COOL AT THE MUSEUM"
In SEPTEMBER: - After a long busy summer, take a breather. Come to Holden Museum's "FALL GET-TOGETHER" on Sunday, September 5, 1010 from noon until 4:00 pm. Sample a delicious dessert and beverage when you renew your membership. Memberships are still just $5 per year. Memberships and visits are so important to the Museum ensuring eligibility for Grants and the future of your Museum and Family History. Bring the kids, they will have fun too. Enjoy a delightful afternoon with friends and neighbors and help close the Museum for the Season.
