Farmer's Day / Soap Box Derby
The annual Farmer's Day celebration has grown from one day to three.
Friday - Sunday, June 11 - 13, 2010 Holden will host a great variety of activities.
Friday:
- BBQ: 6 - 10 pm
- Family Games: 7 - 8 pm
- Movie Night & Popcorn: 8 pm - inside Complex
Saturday:
- Pancake breakfast: 8 - 10 am at the Complex
- Parade: 10:30 am on Main Street (Line up for judging at 9:30 am)
- Soapbox derby: at 11:30 am on Main Street (Pre-register by 9:30 am; For info call Kristine 780-688-3640)
- Farmer's Day Market: 11 am - 3 pm
- Children's Activities: 11 am - 6 pm
- Dunk Tank, Caricature Artist, and more...
- ART Show: 11 am - 4 pm at the Community Hall
- Roast Beef Supper: 4:30 - 6:30 pm
- Holden Blue Jays Baseball Game 6:30 pm
- Family Games & Dance: 8 pm
- Free Hot Dogs & Pop: 10 pm
- Fireworks: 11 pm
Sunday:
- Pancake Breakfast: 9 - 10:30 am at the Complex
- Concession: open 11 am - 3 pm
- Remote Control Cars: 11 am - 4 pm at the Sports Grounds
- Show 'n Shine: 11 am - 4 pm
- Art Show at the Community Hall: 11 am - 4 pm
Museum and Beer Gardens open all weekend
